Betsy Hiser Scholarship

Description2: This scholarship is intended to help a registered dietitian pursue education in order to enhance professional standing and knowledge of nutrition, nutrition education, or food science. The school or educational program may be located in Vermont or out-of-state but the dietitian must be a resident of Vermont. One scholarship will be awarded annually each May.

Qualifications:
1. The applicant must be a resident of Vermont.
2. The applicant must be a Registered Dietitian.
3. The scholarship must be used toward tuition or an educational program fee.
4. The applicant must complete the application form and submit two letters of reference.
5. The scholarship recipient must provide proof of acceptance in the course or program before the award will be released.

Announcement of winner: Before VDA Annual meeting: 2009- by April 25.
