Diabetes Advocacy Training

Tuesday, September 24, 2024  ADCES is offering a free half day virtual advocacy training. Sept 24th 12:30-5pm
Registration deadline is September 20th.

The goal is for this training event to provide the foundation that you need to pursue advocacy efforts throughout the year. This new advocacy training event will focus on how to engage in state Medicaid advocacy to improve health equity for people with or at risk of developing diabetes. This year's speakers will provide training on improving your state's Medicaid coverage of DSMES, continuous glucose monitors, and obesity medications. The event will also feature a grassroots panel and a state networking breakout.
